Greetings guys. I just had a quick question for you. What would make you want to play the game more often? Besides the issues and the obvious lack of graphics, what it take for you to participate regularly? Are the Turns happening too fast? Your feedback would be helpful.

I think the game is great. I have not missed a turn yet.

I really like the games potential, but I have been very frustrated by the hiccups and delays. Basically my entire strategy has been trashed by the delays, but I do understand that this is an Alpha test and there will be bugs.
I have waited for a true campaign style strategic game in the Battletech universe, and I feel that this one will be that. Once we find and resolve the bugs.
Some items on my wishlist.
1) Movement and raids would be easier to track if they were treated the same, in other words using the same interface. Pick the unit, pick the dropship, pick the jumpship, tell them where they are going, and what to do when they get there. If there are no troops going on a dropship move then provide a N/A option to keep the system happy.
2) As part of that it would be helpful if the player didn't have to actually order the moves of units with stops between the point of origin and the destination. If there will be take 3 turns to get to the destination have the system ask the player which systems to stop in.
I'm sure I'll have more once the intel missions and combat mission start to provide results.
Thank you for all your efforts to make this game a reality! You have my deepest respect and admiration!!!

I would agree that the bugs have slowed the game down but this is an alpha. Your idea for more visual aspects for the game would be appreciated. The comment on the movement I would disagree. For me, the strategy aspect of the game requires the logistics side as well as building. I see that a jumpship could only move 2 parsecs for each turn. Coordinating movement to allow jumpships to arrive at a destination for a coordinated attack really adds to war aspect of the game.

I'll admit that my enthusiasm has been tempered by the rather frustrating interface. I really do not like the conventional HTML/XML interface with all of its clicking and loading. Its bulky and cumbersome. I log on and groan inside as I set forth to do my actions of the day. This is even accounting for the bugs, quirks, and delays that an Alpha causes.
Next, the interface and how you go about doing actions is REALLY not intuitive. You have a lot of beautiful data but sometimes it is hard to find or figure out how to do X action. The consolidation of the Buildings and Planet pages was a great step in the right direction. Just be careful not to over do any consolidations.
Lastly, for the love of all that is holy... can we PLEASE get a turn report page that logs and reports the actions that we have performed on previous turns and actions that have been performed against use on previous turns. I have been super busy this week and missed a few days and have no idea if anything has happened to my nation at all. So please, generate a report file or something that is divided by section (Diplomacy Notices, RnD actions and results, Building actions and results, ect.) that we can look back at and quickly see if anything has happened. Because as of right now, I could have been raided and invaded and sabotaged up the butt and i'd never know.
