Research Lab: This building is where projects of research and development are carried out. All Research made at the Research Lab cost 100 Research Points (RP) times the level being researched. Research Labs produce research points depending on their Level they are. A level 1 will produce 100 while a Level 3 will produce 300 RP per turn. The level of the Research Lab also determines how many jobs can be performed at one time, A Level 3 Research Lab can Research up to 3 jobs at any given time. Depending on the level being researched will dictate how long a project will take. Level 1 takes 1 turn, Level 2 takes 2 turns and so forth. Invasions, Raids and Infiltration Team attacks can disrupt the research, wasting the time and resources consumed. It costs 5000000 C-Bills and takes 5 turns to build a new Research Lab. A faction can only have 1 Research Lab at a time. All research effects are cumulative.
This is where all of a nation’s research and development is listed. Listed first is your Lab Location, Lab Level, how many research slots it has and how many are still available. Each level of a Research Lab determines how many slots it gets. For example a level 1 Research Lab gets 1 slot while a level 5 gets 5 slots.
Currently Researching: This is the list of items being researched. It takes 6 turns to research any given item. Players can cancel the research at any time but if they decide to research the item again later it will take another 6 turns. If you research an item for 2 turns and you cancel it then return later you will not get credit for those 2 turns.
When a player starts researching a new item it will show up in the Turn Orders Page.

Jumpship Movement: x1 increase in movement distance per level.
CIVILIAN
Infantry Unit Construction: 10% reduction to build costs per level.
Vehicle Unit Construction: 10% reduction to build costs per level.
Mech Unit Construction: 10% reduction to build costs per level.
Aerospace Unit Construction: 10% reduction to build costs per level.
Dropship Unit Construction: 10% reduction to build costs per level.
TECHNICIAN
Infantry Unit Repair: 10% reduction to repair costs per level.
Vehicle Unit Repair: 10% reduction to repair costs per level.
Mech Unit Repair: 10% reduction to repair costs per level.
Aerospace Unit Repair: 10% reduction to repair costs per level.
