It just felt like the 'Rules Questions' section needed an actual questions thread

First two questions:
Is there some sort of counterspying like missions to protect something from enemy spys or take out enemy spys or getting information about enemy missions (is someone spying on you, who is spying on you, what information are they gathering,...
second one: isnt 5000000 cbills a little cheap for a lab? i mean an assaultmech is more expansive, but i guess you ment something like kilo(1000) cbills.
sorry for bad english

Hi Vtech thanks for the questions. There will be infantry units that have counterintel scores that will help increase the districts defense they are in.
As far as cost of the research lab. That is based on over all starting income for each nation. It is more then any periphery nation gets per turn. Starting income for the major houses is about 24,000,000 Cbills. This is after upkeep costs.

In regards to using Excel for the spreadsheets, would the Open Office version be sufficient?

2007 should be sufficient. Open office had not been tested. Due to the macros we will be using its likely not to work with open office. And no we will not be showing any of the formulas in the sheets. Combat is determined by a number of factors and modifiers. There will be no random dice rolls.

I was working on my turn sheet this evening and found that the destination for intel operatives was not capable of being utilized. Is this intentional at this time?

I am not able to transfer air fighter squadrons from one planet to another. When I was trying to build aerofighters with the aerospace factory, the excel file showed level and lines of 5 for each planet choice. Also I find that I cannot upgrade the orbital jumpship yard.

Would it possible to have a sample turn order spreadsheet so we can familiarize ourselves to what we'll be looking at? Possibly from a pirate kingdom so that no sensitive House specific info would be included?

Is information on production of new units available? Things like cost, limits, upgrades, etc. would be of interest.
Also, some idea of how invasions work would be appreciated.

Thank you for the additional info Marshal Focht.
I suspect there is a typo in the Dropship Factory table as it reflects row and column information, rather than the expected digits under "Units Per Turn".
